This performance by the RPC choir and the Rosedale Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Samuel Tam, was presented on December 9, 2012 as part of Rosedale Presbyterian Church's pre-Christmas celebrations.

Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring is the most common English title of the 10th movement of the cantata Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben (Heart and Mouth, Deed and Life), BWV 147 composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Written during his first year in Leipzig, Germany, this cantata is one of Bach's most enduring works.
